Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is NFC technology and how can I use it?

To learn more about this technology and its possible uses, please visit our "WHAT IS NFC?" Page.

To know the specific differences between the various chips we sell on our products, please visit the page: "NFC CHIPS - MAIN DIFFERENCES".

  • Are NFC tags compatible with my phone?

Most of the tags we sell in our store are compatible with all Android and Windows smartphones that have NFC.

In the case of the iPhone, it is now possible to read NFC tags with the iPhone 7, iPhone 8 and iPhone X (these models require an app in order to read NFC tags), and also with the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max and iPhone XR (these models can read NFC tags without an app).

Currently, it is not possible to program NFC tags with an iPhone.

Please note that the Mifare Classic 1K chip does not work with all smartphones, and that Windows smartphones require Mifare Ultralight chip tags to be pre-formatted before being programmed by the mobile phone.

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payments by Paypal, bank transfer or credit card, and we also support iDEAL, Bancontact, SOFORT and Giropay.

  • Where do you ship your products to?

We currently aim to ship our products to most countries in Europe.

  • How long does my order take to arrive?

We send most of our smaller orders by CTT Registered Mail with a tracking number (which is sent to you after confirmation of purchase), and the delivery takes between 4 to 7 business days, depending on which zone you live.

Shipping by express mail CTT Expresso (necessary for any order with weight of over 2kgs) will usually take between 3 to 6 days (considering payments made until 3pm on weekdays), depending on which zone you live. This shipping option is also tracked.

Please note that the tracking numbers may take up to 24 hours until they are active on the CTT website.

  • How can I program the tags I bought?

To program products with NFC tags (including cards, key rings, etc.), you only need an NFC smartphone and an appropriate application for that purpose (we recommend the NXP NFC TagWriter app for Android, whose free download can be done on GOOGLE PLAY).

Alternatively, to program tags and cards and develop professional designs with this technology, you can also use an NFC reader like the ones we have available here in our store.

We hope to have answered your possible questions. If you have not seen your doubts clarified, please contact us using the store's live chat or the FORM.
